We are officially in Phase 6 of the Parking Garage renovations! With the completion of Phase 5, all of the parking spaces on level 2 are open.
Phase 6 has temporarily closed Level 1 and Lower Level 1 on the Plaza side of the garage as well as the down ramp from Level 2 to Level 1. Elevator access to Lower Level 1 is shut off, and Level 2 is reopened.
The existing handicap parking spaces on Level 1 closest to the Plaza have been relocated near Stairwell E. Additional handicap parking spaces are also located on Level 3. Please see garage staff if you need any assistance with handicap parking.
As you enter the garage from Commercial Street, Level 1 and Level 2 will continue to have two way traffic lanes on the Foster Street side of the garage. Level 3 and Level 4 are back to the usual one way traffic pattern. Please take extra caution when driving these ramps.
If you typically like to park on the two lower levels, please enter the garage through the truck tunnel. The right hand ramp to the lower levels is closed on the Commercial Street entrance. You will be redirected to the left hand lane to get access to the lower levels. Garage staff will be on hand to assist.
When will these garage renovations be complete?
We anticipate this project to be completed sometime in the 4th quarter of 2017.
Why are parking spaces blocked off with no active construction?
The parking level directly below the level of construction will always be blocked off to protect people and cars from falling debris.
